Feral pigs are abundant and can be vocal. Chickens, roosters, ducks, geese, and others contribute to the polyphony.Peaceful, yet energizing.
The House - Our custom designed, off grid home features two spacious, self contained suites overlooking the Pacific. Relax in the spacious, 400 sf comfort of your suite. Enjoy the ambience of your private fireplace. ADA friendly with ground floor layout, wide doorways, minimal (3 inch) level change to the outside. Individual parking with all concrete access door to door. Full private bath with spacious, roll-in, oversized shower convenience, comfort height commode, and ample Handicap bars. Each suite has own TV/DVD combo with DISH Network access and access to DVD library. Broadband WiFI access for your internet needs. Kitchenette has own fridge, microwave, dishes and utensils plus convenient shared access to gas grill with side burner just outside the door
Our country home features expansive lanais overlooking the gentle green pastures outward to where the blue sky meets the Pacific. Spend an afternoon curled up with a good book by the pool; enjoy the view or sip your tea in front of your indoor fireplace; or choose one of the many outdoor activities the area has to offer.
This is the home in our hearts. Coming from large families and from the East Coast, you know you want family and friend to be able to come and visit - and you want that visit to be special. So we custom designed and built this house accordingly. Just crashing on the sofa or maybe in the little room down the hall, doesn't cry out "Vacation in Paradise", so we built to give our guests that experience. Our design is the 4 box concept. One box is our Master Suite (located at one end of the house), one box the living room, kitchen & dining (located in the middle), one box the garage, laundry, and main bath, and one box the Guest Suites (located at the other end of house). Those guest rooms should offer a vacation experience, completely self contained. Close enough to be part of the family, yet private enough to getaway, while enjoying the amenities of a private resort. Some say our house is like a private resort. Living here does feels like it. We love it!
A "Vacation in Paradise" for our friends and family, but reality said those visits would be few and spaced out, so why not think to expand our family (ohana). So with just a bit more thought we designed two suites that are completely self contained. Be an active part of the family, lounge by the pool, talk story, walk the property, be as inclusive as you're comfortable. OR, be as private and to yourself as you wish. Come and go by the rear entrance and all we'll see is your car coming or going. YOUR choice. Peaceful relaxation poolside while taking in gorgeous view of the Pacific. Watch the whales when in season. Welcome to our paradise.
